As a homeowner you can benefit greatly from turning your lawn into a farm. Just a 1/4 acre can use almost 1 MILLION gallons of water annually, plus pesticides, herbicides, mowing, weeding, and more! You'll increase food security for your family and your community. No need to have a green thumb, we can pair you with a farmer. You get free produce while supporting local business too! It's a win-win. 

You'll need at least 1/4 acre between the front or back of your location to participate. It doesn't need to be a home either, it could be a forest or even a business location. If you don't have at least 1/4 acre, consider talking to your neighbors to combine your lawns within this program. 

Whether you are a beginning or experienced farmer, it can be challenging to acquire land. Not to mention, everywhere you look there is just land sitting there being used for lawns and wasting precious resources. Utilizing the market garden style of farming, some producers can potentially earn $75k per year with only a 1/4 acre.  

As a farmer in this program, you will receive land access, help with your planting plans, business management education, and help with supplies and other resources, as available. The ultimate goal it to create successful and sustainable farm businesses that feed the community and sure up the next generation of farmers. No farmers, no food!
